Inshore Reef and Estuary Fishing
Even on the shortest trip Fafun Sportfishing offers you will try a number of angling techniques in a number of tried and tested locations. Catering for beginners and serious anglers alike we provide an opportunity to experience live baiting, casting hard body lures, poppers, soft plastics and metal slugs for a variety of offshore and estuary species. Both our boats are fast, purpose built sportfishing vessels, capable of covering large amounts of water in a short time, and that's half the fun.
On all our charters quality tackle is supplied, as are all lures, insect repellant, sunscreen and cold drinks. We can even pick you up from your accommodation and return you after the charter so all you will need is your camera, a hat, sunnies and maybe something to snack on.
4hr Estuary Fishing
This quick but serious charter in our one of our local estuaries could be just what you need to fill in the morning while the missus is at the spa.
Fish Dickson Inlet, Muddy Creek, Mowbray or Mossman River for Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Trevally, Queen Fish, Grunter and Tarpon to name a few.
6hr Inshore Reef & Estuary Fishing, Daintree River
Designed for the keen fisher looking for that early start or a chance to cover a bit more ground. This is a versatile trip with maximum of 4 passengers, an uncrowded one that can be spent live baiting or lure fishing in one of our estuaries, or Jigging, Spinning and Trolling around a wreck or Inshore Reef for School, Spotted and Spanish Mackerel, Trevally, Queenfish and Fingermark or maybe just a bit of bait fishing for some reef fish like Coral Trout for the BBQ. We can even do both.
On this tour you could fish any estuary, reef or wreck along the coast from Cairns to Cape Tribulation including the Famous Daintree River & Snapper Island (Inshore reef trips weather permitting).
Shared Charter $140pp
Private Charters: Both our 4hr and 6hr tours can be arranged as sole charters for the lure, fly or bait fisher chasing that trophy fish or target species. Maybe just a bit more room for you and a couple of your mates.
